New markets in old places...

I grew up in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. If you had told me ten years ago that I would setting up a market table in the same 4H barn I visited countless times in my youth, particularly with the intent to sell handmade fleur de sel, I would given you a vaguely baffled look.

But that's just what happened. We made our first visit to the Antigonish Farmer's Market last Saturday, and we'll definitely be back! It's a diverse and lovely little market that was filled with smiles, families and lots of really cool vendors.

Every town in the province needs a market like this, and many do. We look forward to visiting as many as we can!
